Isolation

Due to recent events.... I've decided its better for me not to leave the house for a week or two. I plan to work non-stop on this case... 
Other news is that I will be changing Lydia's name on all references due to a change in her... well his preferences.

A Lack of Response

After getting short responses that lack information from my Uncle upon the topic of the origin of the Ⓧperator Symbol, I've decided to try and do some research of my own. 

Here's What I've Found:

Rune of Severance 

• The continuous theory is that the symbol configures itself to the belief of the who uses it. Be it to summon or to ward. It has also been thought to control a certain person or object. (Much like the Rune of Severance)

• The meaning of the symbol itself is also controversial. No one is completely sure whether it represents the one redeeming feature of The Ⓧperator, that being his lack of facial features, or something else entirely.                                                                    



Operator Symbol

• The symbol has had past uses throughout history. Many times it was used to mark areas of sickness, insanity, or danger. Its resemblance to the still used mark, the skull & crossbones, may have some significance. I'm not entirely sure yet. 

As for our own symbol,

• I feel that it may be something entirely new. A means to ward and summon, like the Ⓧperator symbol. But also a way for watching... for controlling.
• Visually, it looks like a mix of the well known Ⓧperator symbol and the less known Rune of Severance. The crossed eye shapes, referring to the rune. The center of our symbol being the Ⓧperator symbol itself. The arrows from each side may refer to something like "He sees all". The arrows portraying the line of sight of the Ⓧperator. Since symbols come from all four of the cardinal direction, we can only assume he means that he does see all. 
• Another less known fact is that this may be just another version of the many symbols correlated with the Ⓧperator. 

I'll be looking into the history of runes and symbols this summer. 

I Feel that this will be an ongoing investigation.

I've contacted my uncle whose a high level member of the Wiccan community. I was thinking that someone with his rank should have more information that could be found on the first (legal) level of the Internet.

Last Saturday

Braxton and I had some time to work some stuff out on Saturday. It became a bit dramatic when he ran out of the house. And me being the smart, calculating human being I am, followed him outside, without shoes. 
He ran pretty far out into the woods and, I admit, I got really scared. 
The more defining note of this update is that I've been discovered. 

Yeah, yeah, The Operator now knows I exist. 

He most likely also knows who I am and what information about him I disclose to the world. Though my hidey hole has been discovered, I'm not leaving. I refuse to back out of this. I'm too far in to just walk out now. 

Leaving Braxton and everyone else on their own isn't exactly an act of good friendship. 

The Notes, The Book, The Binder

The trend of these three things has been reoccurring lately so I thought I'd elaborate upon their connection. 

The Notes 

The Notes mostly likely refer to the detailed observations I wrote down on post-its on my wall.

They compare our situation to that of the people in Marble Hornets. 

There are over 200 notes in all. 

I try to keep them together but a couple may have gone missing. 

The photo shown is in the early stages.

It only shows the 1-14 entries and the Totheark responses.

The Binder

Braxton's Binder is a collection of all the drawings he's done. 

They are similar to Alex's drawings in Marble Hornets.

I don't know the exact amount of drawings he has but there are quite a bit.

I have seen it in person. The binder itself is nothing special

Its whats inside that matters.

From my personal deduction, the drawings are maybe a year or two old. 

The Book

The highest guarded secret of this all. 

The book is the original documentation of the beginning.

It holds entries from as early as March 10th, 2014.

This journal originally belongs to Gina but there are entries from Lydia

 As of yesterday, May 10th, its whereabouts are unknown.

Due to its secrecy, the photo I took is to give you an idea. 

To give you detail is a very bad idea.

God forbid you track down the book itself. 

I pray for your soul if that ever comes to pass. 

Its not something you want to find.
